Register for the upcoming IHAV CONFERENCE 2017 and team up with like-minded young professionals, entrepreneurs, students and graduates from around the continent as we engage, dialogue, strategize, unlock our potentials and come up with concrete actions that will provide decent work for us all and also contribute to the economic rise of Africa. This life-changing and rewarding event will take place in Accra, Ghana from 26th to 29th July 2017.

***We will be focusing on the Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth (in Africa)
Application opens:     8th February 2017
Application ends:     8th May 2017 (for applicants outside Ghana)
8th July 2017 (for applicants in Ghana)

Interested participants should complete the application form (on the website ) and submit by the deadline. The chances of your selection are higher if you submit your application early because selection of the candidates will happen on a rolling basis (monthly).

Self-motivated youth between ages 18 to 30
Potential to lead change
Eagerness to start a social enterprise with available resources.

While aiming for the best AFRICAN candidates, we will also accept up to 5 exceptional NON-AFRICAN candidates whose global exposure will add to the richness of the program.

100 participants will be selected

There are no fees for applying. The relevant participation fee is applicable only if you're selected. When selected, the participation fee per participant is GHC250 (Ghanaians) and $50 (Non-Ghanaians). Organising a 4-day enterprising workshop like this with supporting personnel and delivering a rich program, calls for significant expenditure. The fee helps us cover these expenses in part. We urge selected participants with low financial standing to look for sources of sponsorship outside of IHAV as these fees have been heavily subsidized and no sponsorship can be granted. We have a brief guide to help participants in approaching funding sources like trusts, colleges and corporate organisations to raise their own fees.

THE FEES COVER Feeding, accommodation, conference materials and other logistics within the 4-days of the conference.
THE FEES DO NOT COVER Travel costs to and from Accra, Ghana. Participants will have to bear their own travel costs to Ghana. IHAV will provide letters for visa acquisition.

As a delegate, you will meet a powerful network of young people and established professionals, skill up with tools for success and have the opportunity to receive support to implement your big ideas which will also provide income for yourself and the community. You will be engaged in project work, roundtable discussions and group presentations. You will leave as an empowered youth who will go back to make a change in your societies, countries and regions, and empower other too. Not to forget, have a lot of fun in showing the world what young people can do to make an impact.

Are you ready to inspire and be inspired?
Are you ready to take the lead in making our world future-proof?
Are you up for this Challenge?
